They think being a great leader is something you’re “born with” and feel that being inspirational is beyond their reach. Others simply don’t know effective methods to transition beyond motivating their teams to inspiring them. • High-Impact Leadership inspiration training can benefit the organization by increasing: o Employee engagement o Retention o Performance and productivity o Ability to attract top talent o Managerial reputation Inspiration can be a nebulous topic. Use McLean & Company’s training to show leaders how to ground their inspiration methods in the organizational vision, mission, and values to make inspiring staff more approachable, while re-engaging staff in their work. Train leaders how to recognize their staff’s personal vision, mission, and values to drive employees’ sense of value and motivation. • 71% of respondents to a recent McLean & Company survey stated that they believe their current leadership development to be ineffective. • McLean & Company engagement survey data shows that: o 3 of the top 5 questions driving employee engagement relate to vision, mission, and values. This training is aimed at managers and directors because they have a strong impact on retention, and so they have a valuable opportunity to inspire their teams. • This project uses the following to provide effective inspiration training: o 360 degree feedback, so leaders can see how their peers, direct reports, and managers perceive their ability to inspire. o Training activities, so leaders practice inspiration methods while in the training. o A participant handbook, so leaders have a takeaway that they can refer to once the training is complete. This is also used to document notes during the training. Discuss how to gain stakeholder buy-in for leadership training, the costs and benefits of internal vs. external training, and metrics to judge training success. Discuss module selection, logistics, and content customization. Review the 360 tool and the inspiration training deck. Implementation of Train Managers to Inspire Staff to Optimal Performance.
