Why care about culture?
It's what we live and breathe everyday at work
Cultures are formed whether you plan for it or not
Great culture attracts great talent
So why not create a culture we love?
In fact, we already have
Most of our culture is something you can feel in our team
Even before it was written in stone
This is how our team sees our values and culture See next sl ide!
The TIA Culture Cloud Based on team survey before this deck was made.
And to set things in deck, here it is, Our Culture Code (1) We believe in work+life, not work vs life (2) We get things done with a sense of urgency (3) We communicate transparently with each other (4) We obsess over our community, not our competitors (5) We trust data and stay focused on our KPI
1 We believe in work+life not work vs life
We strive to live and play like a family.
Work should be part of your life, not a chore. It should be flexible.
2 We get things done with a sense of urgency
Results matter more than how long you work or how much vacation you take.
We believe in working hard and working smart.
We also believe in fostering a sense of urgency and pride in our work.
Your sense of urgency is contagious. Be an influence.
3 We communicate transparently with each other
The truth usually hurts.
But hiding the truth hurts the person, and eventually the company.
That said, remarks should be for the good of the person or company.
We don't tolerate personal attacks.
4 We obsess over our community, not our competitors
We strive to answer our community's most prevalent needs.
Our community is our drive. Without them, we achieve nothing.
We don't take shortcuts that compromise on company integrity.
We publish stories with value, or don't publish at all.
5 We trust data and stay focused on our KPI
What can be measured, can be improved.
